Corrections first

If something here is wrong or out of date, that is the most useful message you can send. Tell me the page, tell me what the right answer is, and point at the source if you have it.

This matters more on this subject than most. A great deal of what circulates about teenage anger is repeated confidently and sourced to nothing, and I have no reason to think I caught all of it. If you work in a school, a clinic, a court or a programme and something here does not match what you see, I would rather know.

What I cannot answer

I am not a clinician, a lawyer or a school administrator, and I cannot tell you what is happening with your child, whether a particular programme is any good, what your district will do, or what a court will accept. Those answers depend on facts I do not have and on where you live.

Please do not send me a description of your child and ask what is wrong. I will not answer it, not out of caution but because any answer would be worthless and possibly harmful.

What I can do is point at whoever does have the standing to answer. For anything urgent, the crisis resources page is the better place to start than this one.

Everything else

Questions the site has not covered are welcome. Several pages exist because someone asked.

A permanent no to: guest posts, link exchanges, sponsored placement, and any arrangement where a treatment provider, programme, app or law firm gets written about in return for anything. No money has come into this site from any of them and none will. That is not a virtue, it is the only reason these pages are worth reading.
